Confirmation Expectations:

• Maintain regular class attendance.  7th grade will meet at 3:30pm on Wednesdays.  8th graders will meet at 4:45pm.  9th graders will meet at 6:30pm.  Since class only meets once a week, it is necessary for students to be absent as little as possible.  You may have 3 unexcussed absences.  5 absences will prompt a call to parents.  7 or more the education committee will be notified for possible direction and suggestions
• Turn in 20 worship notes between September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2011.
• Follow the Acolyte and Communion schedule for Sunday morning.  The schedule is found in the newsletter, on the church website and a postcard will be mailed to you the month you are scheduled.
• Memory work as assigned.
• Attend a week at Park River Bible Camp OR a Pathways Bible Camp OR help teach Sunday School the full year or Vacation Bible School BOTH summers.  Students may attend another bible camp, just note that Park River and Pathways are the only camps that will meet the requirements.
• If school is cancelled or dismissed early for a weather emergency, confirmation will also be cancelled.
• Should there be excessive interuptions or lack of attentiveness, the entire class will be detained on that day so that the lesson can be completed.
